Done! Done! On to the Next One! Done, I’m Done and I’m on to the Next!!!

February 7th, 2007 by Mike

Have you ever heard that song by the Foo Fighters called “All my Life”? Well if you haven’t you should cause you are missing out! By the way, the Foo Fighters are my favorite band!!!

Anyway that particular song strikes a chord with me (pun intended, hardee haw haw) cause my life feels like Im always taking little steps forward. Well sometimes I feel like Im going backwards but I digress… The point is, it kind of feels like Im searching for something, although I dont really know what that is exactly… Much like the lyrics in this song!

Take for example, my OmoshiroiEigo.com website…. It took quite a bit of work to create it and get it up and running.. and while it had quite a few visitors in the beginning it seems as though the interest has softened… guess I should add more to the site.. and yeah now feel like Im going backwards.. but as soon as I finished it I started on this one…. Of course these sites will continue to develop and will never be completely finished but I that’s life!

Anyway the moral of this little story is we never stop growing… well until we die I guess!!!

Hey Mike, I think you should post this under ‘Music’ as well as ‘Foo Fighters’.

Out of curiosity, what’s a ‘foo’ and why would you fight it?

Here is the definition of a Foo Fighter - “The name foo fighter was coined by Allied aircraft pilots in World War II for mysterious aerial phenomena, such as glowing ball lightning seen in the skies over Germany. The phenomenon could very likely be based on the misinterpretation of the Luftwaffe’s standard operating procedure of having selected anti-aircraft batteries near German airfields fire coloured flare patterns in regular intervals to aid Luftwaffe night fighters with visual navigation.”

Im not sure why Dave Grohl named his band this, but I do know that he is really interested in Sci Fi and UFO’s and stuff…. in fact his record label “Roswell Records” gets its name from “Roswell, New Mexico” where there was some major UFO activity back like 50 years ago… I believe Dave also had a cameo on an episode of “Roswell” a few years back.. Roswell was a sci fi show as well…. There you have it, a bit of Foo Fighter trivia Nick!!! or of what I can remember anyway!
