One of my favorite movies/shows is Jackass! Actually Im sure that many people love Jackass as the tv series did very well and the movies have done even better. Now to a lot of people they think Jackass and probably see a bunch of idiots running around and trying to get hurt. However, to me, its much more than that!
Although it looks like hardly any planning goes in to any of it, Im sure that quite the opposite is true. Most people may agree with me on this as when you think about it, they probably plan stunts with Doctors, Stunt Professionals and Producers to make sure that all necessary safety precautions are taken. However, what I like are the the small things, that you may not notice…
First of all their, attention to detail… every little skit they do, they always dress up for it and play the role to a certain extent…
Second, I like how they seem to be best friends… They are always encouraging each other to do stupid things, and isn’t that what real friends do??? Often, you will see one guy performing a stunt and all the other guys gathered around waiting for the excitement to happen.. and then when it does they all break out laughing!
Finally, they are just a bunch of idiots who don’t take themselves too seriously… They don’t try to be anything they are not and are just looking for some fun.. Can’t blame them for that, now can you?
Here is the ending of the second movie, these particular stunts obviously had a lot more planning than the others, but you have to admit, they are extremely well done!
I still have the music in my head! ……. The best of times is now…. as for tomorrow…. who knows, who knows???
If you liked that, great! I intend to have more Jackass articles in the future!
