Buster from Arrested Development

April 29th, 2007 by Mike

Arrested Development is one of my favorite tv shows. Its about this wealthy and dysfunctional family. It definitely has this off-beat type of humor to it and is one of those shows where you have to put a few dots together to fully appreciate the jokes. In a way, its kind of like The Simpsons

Arrested Development only ran for about 2.5 years. It was a great show and while it developed a strong following, it never quite caught on in the mainstream.

Today I’d like to feature one of it’s many interesting characters, “Buster.” Buster, is an adult but is extremely inmature, and very much attached to his Mother. He sometimes has a really funny way of talking and developed his own little of catch phrase of “Hey, brother.” Check it out!

My favorite clip is where he clears some glass from a broken window with his metal hook hand, scaring his brothers, and then pops in with his trademark, “Hey Brother.”
