It’s been a while since I last wrote, and for that I apologize. My life has been kind of busy as of late and so it has not left much time for blogging. Further complicating my lack of blogging has been my non-ownership of a computer. However, I am happy to tell you that one has been ordered and I should be receiving it within the next week.

Recently, a few of my friends went to the Coachella music festival in California. One of the bands that they saw was LCD Soundsystem. I had never heard of them before and so today I went on YouTube and looked them up. Sure enough there was a recording of them from David Letterman’s Late show. I have posted it below.

Like all good rock bands you really have to acquire a taste for them, at least I did. At first I thought the song below was ok but then after hearing a few times I started to get in to it. The thing I like the best is the Asian girl in the band. I love her screaming of “North American!” I mean she doesn’t even try to sing it, she just lets it out and what can I say? God bless her!

The other thing that I really like about this video is how the rest of the Late Show band gets in to the performance. You can see them clapping their hands, and other times playing their instruments.

On the surface LCD Soundsystem is an odd band. However, I think a lot of people could enjoy them if they got the chance to hear them. Enjoy!
