One of my favorite websites is JapanProbe.com

JapanProbe.com is a blog about, you guessed it, Japan! They have all sorts of different videos and news stories regarding Japan related events. Most of the time the posts are pretty entertaining but they sometimes touch on serious subjects. I really enjoy reading it and watching the videos featured as they do a good job displaying Japanese pop culture.
JapanProbe.com features posts written by a small group of authors however it seems, at least recently, that most posts are written by an American named James. The blog is huge and the writers contribute a number of different posts each day. Its cool that the blog is frequently updated but to me it sometimes seems that its almost a bit too much. Oh well, the posts are usually quite short in length so its easy to skip to the next one if the one you are reading doesn’t particularly interest you.
I don’t know how many people visit JapanProbe.com each day, but I would guess that its pretty high as they have a Google page rank of 5! Anyway if you have any interest in Japanes pop culture I suggest you check it out!

Yeah, I try not to read Japan Probe too often ‘coz if I do, it’ll suck me in and it won’t let me leave! It’s addictive because there’s so much on it, and so much of it is relevant to me.
Nice job on your first screenshot, and you didn’t even need your new camera to do it!
Thanks for that link. I am going back to Tokyo next month for the first time in ten years.
I like Japanprobe too but there are better blogs like 3yen.com, japansugoi.com and stippy.com for stuff about Japan
Thanks Randy, I’ll have to check those out!
Those Japanprobe guys are copying lots of stuff from TV then uploading to youtube. Aint got a problem with that except they do it for profit. They keep creating new accounts on youtube to avoid be caught. They should just pay royalties for the the TV content they are copying.
JASRAC should be on their case.
