Smart Car

The other day I was walking home when I saw something kind of funny. It was a Smart Car that was parked perpendicular NOT parallel, to the curb. What was even more amazing was the fact that it didn’t stick out at all between the two cars parked in front of and behind it! Check it out.
Smart Cars are obviously the smallest cars on the road in Canada, and as you can see from the picture below are only big enough for 2 people. There is hardly any room behind the seats. I’d have to say they are a somewhat impractical car but if you live alone in a big city where parking is tight, it might actually be a good option. I guess the downside (besides the space limitation) is if you were involved in a head on collision… but hey it’s good on gas, right?
