Whale Watching in Tofino, B.C. – Part 2

Our Whale Watching Boat

My Aunt Lorinda and Cousins Amy and Amanda in the Whale Watching Boat

A couple of posts ago I wrote about Whale Watching in Tofino, British Columbia. So I shall now continue with Part 2 of my story.

I’m not sure where we went exactly, but the boat ride was a good 25 minutes from the harbor. We were probably about 500 meters off shore when we spotted our first Whale. The sad thing was that we only saw a couple of Whale the whole time we were out there. Not only that, but the Whales were pretty far from our boats. In fact, this is the best picture that I could manage.

Whale off in the far far far distance.

I’m sorry that I could not provide you with a better picture of a Whale, especially after all of the build up from the first post. Oh well, life isn’t fair, so suck it up! haha! To cheer you up I’ve included a photo of myself in my classic peace pose. I hope this makes up for your disappointment in my Whale shots! (At least, I have wind swept hair in this pic!)

Aww, I was so looking forward to this post. I wanted to see the whales Mike, and you scared them all away with your Armageddon impersonation! Aren’t you in this picture somewhere?
