Snowboarding at Lake Louise
November 25th, 2007 by Mike
Last week I went snowboarding at Lake Louise. Lake Louise opened up this year around November 9th but when I went last week on the 17th, they only had one run open. It’s still quite early in the season and you’ll see from the video below that there wasn’t much snow, especially below the chairlift. The good thing was that with only one run open they were able to focus their snowmaking equipment on that area which made snow conditions. I have to say it did get a little boring going down same run the whole weekend but what can you do when it’s this early in the season? At least it wasn’t ice! I hate ice!
The following is a little highlight reel(if you can really call it that) of the weekend. It was my first time snowboarding in about a year and a half but after a few runs down the hill I was feeling more comfortable. Thankfully I didn’t kill myself. I hope I’ll get a lot of chances to go out this year.
If you liked this vid you may want to check out my other video from that weekend. Here’s a spoiler: at the end of the other video I fall on my face! Check it out here.
