Adding nofollow tag to all outgoing links is a very good way to keep the PageRank within your website.

Yeah I thought it would increase traffic to my blog but now I'm wondering if it does because it doesn't seem like my stats have changed. Oh well maybe it just needs more time...

I suppose it's possible that Google has changed the rules since reinstating my rank. It seems as though they are not giving as much weight to PR as they did in the glory days(which were until about 3 months ago.)

I've had four PR5 websites over the last couple of years, but now I have none. You'd think PR would increase with age and popularity, but in my case it seems to be the reverse. Those sites are now PR4, 4, 4 and 3. Despite this, traffic has steadily increased.

I'd like to see Mike show us some traffic stats. How did his traffic change during the time he had PR0? Has it suddenly increased because he got his PR back? If the change has been minimal, and PR is no longer useful for attracting advertisers (at least "nofollow" ones), what is the point of PR at all?

Congrats on getting your PR back. I'll be doing the same for j2fi.net shortly. I don't know why I didn't do it sooner ... perhaps because I was kind of hoping it was going to be a temporary thing ... oh well.

Let's see who can hit a PR6 first :P
