The Long Drive on Interstate 15 - Part 2

February 19th, 2008 by Mike

Welcome to part 2 of my drive on Interstate 15. In my previous post I had a number of photos of Montana, Idaho, and Utah. It’s now time to hit Nevada!

As you can see the landscape has now started to change desert. I’m in the Wild Wild West Baby!

This is Arizona and as you can see it’s full of Cactus, or perhaps I should say Cacti. One interesting thing that I learned about Cacti is that they can live a very long time, in fact many of them featured here are over 100 years old.

Here’s a quick video of Lake Mead, which is just outside of Las Vegas.

I was hoping you’d appear in the video with a cowboy hat on, humping a cactus? No such luck. Too tame, too tame!!!

Sorry to disappoint you Nick! I’ll try to include more humping in future posts! ;)

I saw no rattlesnakes or indians or cowboys chewing tobacco!!!!!
Have to agree with Nick in the fact that I felt sure I would see you humping a cactus or cacti??????

Keith

Geez at the very least, I thought John Wayne would be in a photo or two.
