Interstate 15 - The Wal-Mart Super Highway
March 7th, 2008 by Mike

I drove approximately 6000 km round trip from Canada to the United States during the Christmas holiday and I’ve never seen so many Wal-Mart trucks going up and down the highway. It seemed as though every second 18 wheeler that I came across was a Wal-Mart truck.
Wal-Mart is big in Canada and while I knew that Wal-Mart was a huge force in the American economy, I just couldn’t believe that they seemed to control nearly all highway traffic on the Interstate. When I was on the way back home I found out why I was seeing so manyWal-Mart trucks. Somewhere along Interstate 15, maybe in Idaho or maybe in Utah, (only the Lord really knows) there is a huge Wal-Mart distribution centre. I guess the location of the place is pretty much right in the heart of America, making it easier for them to move their goods all over the country.

Oh thanks for the helpful tips Nick, but if I changed it to the way you would have written it I would have to make the following additions:
Somewhere along Interstate 15, I drove like my grandma but that was ok considering I was listening to my favorite gay singer, while driving to my ballroom dance lesson where I would partner with a man, in my pink LaPin… (P.S. I’m gay.)
Haa haa haa C’mon now Mike, Nick is not gay. He is just in touch with his girly side as I am!!!!
Have you considered the fact that it might have been the same truck due to you driving so slow???
Keith
And there’s nothing wrong with touching a girly’s side.
Keith, you’re absolutely right. It must be the same truck. It stops at every Wal-Mart but keeps catching Mike up!
