Japan has a lot of the same things that the west has. In fact, a lot of people think that Japan has lost part of it’s identity as there are quite a number of Western corporations operating there. McDonald’s is one of them however it seems that Japan has added a slightly Japanese touch to the “I’m lovin’ it” ad campaign that has worked well in the States and Canada.
Look at the picture above and you will see that McDonald’s Japan has added a couple of lines to the “I’m lovin’ it” slogan. It’s difficult to see in this picture but right above “I’m lovin’ it”, it says “feeding my brain, growing my mind… …i’m lovin’ it” I’ve eaten many times at McDonald’s in Japan and I have to say that while it’s cheap, I’ve never walked out of the restaurant feeling smarter.

My name is Michael McKinlay and I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Although I was born here, I have lived in a few other places in Western Canada such as, Saskatoon, Regina, Medicine Hat, and Edmonton. I also spent time in Hong Kong and Japan. [
It’s like the Japan Tobacco campaign, “Smoking Clean”.
Right you are Nick!
C’mon Son, you would not walk out of having brain transplant and feel smarter haa haa haa so how could you imply Macca’s does not make you smarter!!!
I know when I eat one of their new “Mega Burger’s” I feel really smart!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They would not lie to us now son!!!!
Daddy
Of course they wouldn’t!
Actually, I read somewhere that fatty foods really are brain food. But, maybe that was just
some big-boy doctor’s way of justifying his junk food habit.
