A couple of weekends ago I visited the Icefields in Jasper National Park and as I’ve been known to do I couldn’t resist taking some silly photos. Silly photos with beautiful and amazing backgrounds though. Here’s a shot of me eating ice from a glacier that is from ancient times. OK I don’t know exactly how old this glacier really is but much like Spinal Tap’s Tribute to Stone Age I will assume druids once roamed these parts.
The two pictures below were taken at Moraine Lake in Banff National Park. The water is known for its green color and it truly is a beautiful place.

My name is Michael McKinlay and I live in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Although I was born here, I have lived in a few other places in Western Canada such as, Saskatoon, Regina, Medicine Hat, and Edmonton. I also spent time in Hong Kong and Japan. [
Beautiful Lake, isn’t it? and…Where did you stand on?!
I thougt you took a cooold bath…it’s joking ; )?
There are more rocks behind the rocks!
Wow, you nature-lover you! That photo second from bottom looks like your head is sitting on a rock, about to roll off – freaky!
mmmmm yes!
