Fall Clean-Up Job = Raking Leaves

It’s November 1st and to my surprise we had a beautiful day reaching around +16 degrees. You never know what the weather is going to do in Calgary and so when you get a nice day like today you have to take full advantage of it. I did this by raking leaves.

I actually raked leaves a couple of weeks ago and so more have fallen. So today was round # 2. I guess its kind of futile as more leaves are sure to fall so I’ll probably be out doing it again but at least it won’t be as much. Here are a couple of before and after photos! Isn’t it dramatic? ;)

LOL, that is hilarious. That’s not a tree, it’s an overgrown weed! Cut it down and save yourself the trouble. :-P

Nick have you not seen the movie “The Happening,” starring Mark Wahlberg??? If you had, you probably would have thought twice before making a comment like that! Plants react to human voices and and if we are not nice to them they will make us kill ourselves! So now that I’ve ruined the movie for you, go rent it!

Save yourself time Mike and get “Evergreen” trees so then you would never have to rake your front yard.
Nick i have seen that tree in person and your comment while harsh, is true. It is a bit ugly!!!!!

Almost all of the leaves in my front yard are from other trees down the street. The winds blow them in to my yard all the time, which I guess isn’t that hard as my fence is about 3 feet high!
