I just finished reading Jesse Ventura’s – I Ain’t Got Time To Bleed. Many people know of Ventura but if you don’t, please allow me to give you a brief introduction.
Ventura is 57 years old and has done quite a few different things during his lifetime. Here’s a listing of some of the jobs he’s had, Navy SEAL, Professional Wrestler, Talk Show Host, City Mayor, Governor of Minnesota.
This book was kind of like a short biography of his life and it also covers a lot of his political beliefs. I don’t agree with everything Ventura says but I think he makes a lot of great points. He talks about being an Independent candidate in a 2 party political system and how he overcame that to become Governor which I found very interesting. He also describes many of his experiences growing up and how that shaped him in to becoming a leader. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him and who knows he may even run for President one day. If I was American, he’d definitely get my vote! Makes me wish that we had more independent candidates running in Canada.
Overall I enjoyed the book and have even started another one of his books entitled Do I Stand Alone? This one seems to be more about his political life and I’m sure it will turn in to another interesting read.

Jesse’s great. A real straight talker. He says what most people haven’t got the balls to say, like…
and…
He was NEVER a Navy SEAL. He’s a liar.
