So this past Sunday night I saw the Killers play the Saddledome. I wasn’t planning to go but since I had nothing else on I thought I’d go see if I could get a cheap ticket.
Tickets for the show were running around $55 after TicketMaster charges and while I like The Killers, I didn’t feel like spending that kind of money. So what’s a boy to do?
Well I hopped on a train, got to the dome, and found some guys selling tickets. Perhaps I should replace the word “guys” with “scalpers.” Anyways I told them I wanted a cheap ticket and when they asked how cheap, I said $20… After they laughed, one said “You can’t even see a movie for $20.” Well that’s fine and dandy but that’s all I’m willing to pay. So I moved on to the next guy, and then the next…. And then I found a guy who was selling his friend’s ticket since he was unable to make it. I offered him $20 and that was that.
His seats weren’t very good so I moved to some better ones. Apparently 11,000 people attended the show, but it wasn’t a complete sell out and so it wasn’t hard to find empty seats.
Anyway it was a good show but I’m glad I didn’t pay more than $20… Here’s a vid of some highlights that I threw together…

from this video looks like the concert was great. I am not much of a The Killers fan so I don’t listen to their music often, but this concert was great. (judging from this video)
