A Day At the Calgary Zoo

I haven’t been to the Zoo since I was a kid and so it was nice to go back and see what has changed. Apparently a lot! The Calgary Zoo has expanded quite a bit and they have a lot of different animals and exhibits.

Say what you will about the Zoo but the animals look like they live in nice facilities and are well taken care of. During the day the Zoo keepers gave some presentations and I know I learned a lot!

They say that pictures are worth a thousand words and with that I’ll let them do most of the talking from now.

Japanese Monkey

Now I’m no animal expert but I’m gonna take a wild guess say that this next animal is a male.

Possibly a Male Horse

The next couple of photos feature Gorillas. It almost seems like the Mom is trying to give the audience a subtle message.
