My name is Michael McKinlay and I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Although I was born here, I have lived in a few other places in Western Canada such as, Saskatoon, Regina, Medicine Hat, and Edmonton. I also spent a summer working/vacationing in Hong Kong and worked in Japan for a total of about 1.5 years. In Japan I lived in Toyama, Shizuouka, Nagoya, and Gifu! Japan kind of feels like a second home to me since my best friend and many other great friends live there. Who knows, maybe one day I will go back to work there…. But as for now, I’ve got a good job here and Calgary is a great place to live as it pretty much has everything that I could want in a city.
